The era of bioplastics in print and packaging

Our bio-based and biodegradable foils offer a viable alternative to traditional plastics, reducing the environmental impact and providing a sustainable option for various industries.

LAM’ON LTD is a start-up that disrupts the printing and packaging markets with two highly innovative products - a bio-based and biodegradable laminating film LAM’ON and a packaging foil PACK’ON. Both have the performance capabilities of plastic films but are based on PLA and compostable. They are completely compatible with current printing and packing industrial machines for immediate large-scale market entry, and do not require any changes to production process or equipment. Our recipe allows us to produce high quality, affordable and durable clear film.

As passionate activists and entrepreneurs we believe there is a better way to do things without compromising our customers' comfort and at an affordable price. We plan on developing a portfolio of laminating film finishes, coatings and eventually inks, as well asvarious flexible packaging options for a variety of products from cosmetics, to homecleaning solutions, food, fresh produce to working with brands for custom packaging.

Our laminating film LAM’ON consists of crystal clear film in mat and gloss finish and a heat activated toxic-free adhesive layer, both compostable. We provide industry standard rollsof film up to 90 cm in width and thickness from 15 to 50 microns. Easy to use and affordable, LAM’ON is a great substitute for the petroleum based options on the market.

The same is true for PACK’ON - durable AND sustainable packaging foil. Durable enough to be used on packaging lines and yet it can be composted or recycled as bioplastic for up to 10 cycles.
